2025 Topps Chrome Update Series Baseball Checklist Overview
The base set clocks in at 200 cards, and it will be packed with rookies who debuted throughout the 2025 MLB regular season and include scenes from the All-Star Game at Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves.

Twenty-two players have image variations, and Topps is debuting Cupfractors, which are variations featuring members of the Topps All-Star Rookie team from the flagship Topps Chrome set.
Autographs
As for signatures, collectors have plenty of places to find them.
Topps returns the popular Lava Lamp Rookie Autographs for an encore, and 1990 Topps Chrome Baseball Autographs carry over into the Update Series.
Other concepts include Base Autographs, Rookie Debut Autographs, Legend Autographs, Dual Autographs, Triple Autographs, Chromography, and signed versions of Cupfractors and Radiating Rookies inserts.
Among the players in the Legends Autographs is Hideo Nomo, who has not had a licensed certified autograph card in 20 years.
Celebrity Larry David also has a special autograph card in the set.
Autographed Relics
But the real star when it comes to signatures is the Rookie Debut Patch Autograph.
Introduced in 2023, these 1/1 cards feature a special patch worn during a player’s major-league debut and the player’s hard-signed signature, making it something that can never be replicated. Many players make deals to acquire their own card, while others sell for hefty sums at public auction.
Collectors also get a special treat with the last set of 2025 Gold Logoman Patch cards.
Following the success of MLB Rookie Debut patches, Fanatics and Major League Baseball collaborated before the 2025 season to create gold MLB Logoman patches to put on the jerseys of prominent award winners from the 2024 season.
Like the MLB Rookie Debut patches, these Gold Logoman patches are authenticated by MLB and then used for extremely limited Topps baseball cards.
However, because 2024 American League Rookie of the Year Luis Gil did not make his season debut until August, Topps did not have game-used Gold Logoman patches of his to include on cards in the flagship Chrome set, which came out on July 23.
Once Gil returned from injury, Topps could include his Gold Logoman patch on relic and autographed versions in Chrome Update. He is also paired with 2024 National League ROY Paul Skenes on dual versions of the card, both signed and unsigned.
Inserts
A handful of inserts get a second installment as a continuation of checklists found in Topps Chrome:

Other inserts include Alter Ego Superheroes, Celebracion, Fortune 15, 1990 Topps Chrome Baseball, 2025 All-Star Game (including 11 image variations) Major League Minis, and Night Terrors.
Topps has also brought together Disney and MLB with Mickey and Friends inserts.
These inserts feature three Disney characters dressed up as MLB players in road uniforms, with Mickey Mouse representing the West Division teams, Donald Duck representing the Central Division teams, and Goofy representing the East Division teams.
2025 Topps Archives Baseball Checklist Overview
The 300-card base set takes collectors back to 1964, 1996, and 2005.
Loaded with stars, rookies, and legends, the checklist gives as much variety as the designs, and collectors will also look for a rainbow of parallels.

Autographs
As for signatures, there are seven designs for collectors to seek out.
Among them are Fan Favorites featuring the 1956, 1967, 1984, and 2011 Topps Flagship designs.
Fan Favorites Autographs have five levels of parallels:
- Green Foilboard
- Gold Foilboard
- Blue Foilboard
- Red Foilboard
- Foilfractor
Collectors can also find autographs designed like the 1987 Boardwalk and Baseball cards, which were released as a 33-card box set at the short-lived Boardwalk & Baseball theme park in Florida, which operated from April 1987 to January 1990.
Another classic design getting the autograph treatment is the 1964 Topps Stand-Ups cards, which had perforations around action images of players and were made to stand as display pieces. The new autographs keep the instructions — and perforations — that were included on the original cards.
Coldfoil 1995 Topps Cyberstats Autographs are the last set. The autographs based on past concepts have the following parallels:

Rare finds are Topps Originals Autographs, which land once every 1,435 hobby packs.
Inserts
Inserts include unsigned versions of many of those same autograph sets – 1987 Boardwalk and Baseball, 1995 Topps Cyberstats, and 1964 Topps Stand-Ups included – as well as 2007 Topps All-Stars.

2025 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball Checklist Overview
The base set runs 225 cards, with 25 short prints at the tail end. The set picks up where the flagship Heritage stopped, meaning the first high-number card will be #501.
As is standard, there will parallels and short-print variations. The SPs include returning Image and Nickname variants and new Alternate Cartoons and Flipped Bat versions.

As a salute to the bicentennial, Topps has created new parallels, inserts, and relic cards to recognize the legacy of America’s 200th birthday celebration.
Outside of Bicentennial Stars and Bicentennial Relics, collectors will also look for 1976 Retirees, which look back on legends like Henry Aaron, who retired after the ’76 season. Another ’76-themed set is Undefeated, which features highlights from the 1976 Reds and their seven straight playoff wins, and collectors can also find original 1976 Topps cards as foil-stamped buybacks.
Inserts focused on current players are Perfect 10s, Rookie Performers and Award Winners, featuring the 2024 honorees.
Real One Autographs lead the way for the product’s signatures. As has become standard, these cards will feature on-card signatures on the same retro design as the base set and feature a mix of current and retired players.
In addition to the base versions, collectors will look for Red Ink and Black and White Variations.
The High Number series will also have Wax Pack Autographs, which are designed to look like a signed 1976 Topps wax pack.
Clubhouse Collection relics include single player, and dual-player versions put together a current player and a past star from the same franchise. Collectors can also find 1976 Baseball and 1976 Celebrity 1/1 Cut Signatures.
